ABOUT ME

Since working in public school education for over 13 years, I have been fortunate to experience and be involved in some amazing things. I started my career in teaching art and working closely with the principal and her administration team opening an elementary school in 2010, and then went on to become the librarian at a middle school campus. After 2 years at the middle school campus, I landed the coveted job as one of the 2 campus librarians at Dickinson High School. Shortly thereafter, I was granted the position of District Lead Librarian over secondary campuses for 3 consecutive years. During COVID, Dickinson ISD added Technology Liaisons at each campus, which I served my last year at Dickinson High School. With my librarian experience and technology experience, I advanced into a district level Technology Integration Specialist position in the summer of 2022. I currently support all middle school and junior high campuses with integrating technology.
